Special fair finished architectural items can also be manufactured to clients own individual size, colour and specification allowing for items such as textured concrete reveals and window cills to be individually manufactured and supplied.

Mona Precast can manufacture and supply both general purpose concrete blocks and high specification thermally efficient insulating blocks - direct to building sites as and when required.

Mona Precasts lightweight insulation blocks are called Fibrotherm and have a density 850Kg/m3 and are manufactured from fibo ExClay, expanded lightweight aggregates and a mixture of other naturally occurring raw materials and cement.
Fibrotherm lightweight blocks are produced in solid form, with excellent insulation and u-value performance the blocks face also provides an excellent key for plastering.

Although the performance values of new buildings and extensions will depend on many factors, it is likely that wall U-value of around 0.30W/m2k will be required. Meeting this requirement is easy using a variety Mona Precast blocks.

Using the same material as their building blocks Mona Precast also manufacture coursing bricks – these smaller bricks eliminate the need for cutting and wasting of larger blocks. Using these strong, durable, and sustainable coursing bricks ensures continuity of wall thermal U-value performance is assured, and they can also be used for general coursing-in, infilling around lintels and closing cavities.
