The Laugavegur Hiking Trek

Well now is your chance. Adventurous Ewe hosts a 6 day Iceland laugavegur trek taking you through landscape most of which is unique to Iceland. You start in the civilised and modern city of Reykjavik and then make your way through volcanoes, glaciers, waterfalls and steaming lava fields.

The Trek is said to be one of the most spectacular treks in Europe, although the days are long there are a number of support vehicles which do the heavy lifting for you, so you only have to carry a day bag with the essentials of snacks and water, With this lightweight pack you will be able to fully enjoy the fantastic landscape that Iceland has to offer. You will travel 55 kilometres, the difficulty of the trek is determined by the weather conditions at the time but is usually quite a hard trek, so there are highly trained mountaineers with you at all times. During the trek you will sleep in a hotel on the first and last night, while sleeping in 3 person tents shared by two people with mattresses on the other nights you will camp beside mountain huts which have running water and showers.

The trip is a one in a life time trek, across the most beautiful regions of Iceland with views of Mýrdalsjökull, Eyjafjallajökull and Tindafjallajökull glaciers.
